The convergence of Quantum with AI

Quantum Internet Alliance

The Quantum Internet Alliance is a European consortium, not a commercial company, coordinated by QuTech at Delft University of Technology and originally launched in 2018 under the EU Quantum Flagship. Its members — universities, research institutes and industrial partners — work on entanglement-based quantum networks, in which photonic links distribute entanglement between matter-qubit nodes such as nitrogen-vacancy centres in diamond and trapped ions, with parallel work on repeaters, network protocols and control software. It functions as the main coordinating body for Europe's effort to build a scalable quantum internet, and it is a non-profit organisation rather than a listed or venture-backed business.
